It is useful and fun.
This workshop is for **kids of all ages** (and anyone of any age).
Learn to solder by making a cool badge that you can wear and blink wherever you go.
The **["I Can Solder!" Badge kit](https://cornfieldelectronics.com/cfe/projects.php#solderbadge)** is a very simple [open hardware](https://github.com/maltman23/I-Can-Solder--Badge-kit-V2) kit that anyone can use for learning to solder.
_This workshop is for **total newbies** to learn to solder. All ages._
Everyone will learn to solder by making their own "I Can Solder!" Badge kit. I will also give a fun overview of how it works. I guarantee your badge will work after you solder it!
Taught by Mitch Altman, who has taught tens of thousands of people how to solder all over the world.

The workshop is free, but if you would like to partake in the hands-on aspects of the workshop, Mitch will have "I Can Solder!" Badge kits available for 8 € (useful for blinking everywhere you go).

This talk will show you how many interfaces have to communicate in order to fly experiments on a sounding rocket. We will give you insights into the procedures and the complexity of a research campaign and the actual flight of the rocket itself. In particular, we look at the hardware and software used in the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and the Service Module (SM) within the rocket.
