Announcing “Shutdown for Climate”: The internet joins the global climate strike on September 20.

This movement tries to get as many websites as possible to show a “green out” page on September 20, motivating its users to join demonstration+strikes
Several organisations are calling for a global climate strike week that starts September 20. “Shutdown for Climate” is joining this movement by motivating websites to show a “green out” page on September 20, similar to what Wikipedia did earlier this year to support the Article 13 protests. The date September 20 is especially important in Germany, because the government starts discussing climate policies on this day.
