Initiated in 2015, the project Open Source Estrogen started with a simple question: What if it was possible to synthesize estrogen in the kitchen?
Intersecting at body and gender politics, environmental toxicity, and amateur science as a transfeminist practice of care, this talk given by Mary Maggic will unpack various hormone hacking artworks that ask if we want to be more alien than we already are.
