Toki Pona is a constructed language. According to its author, Sonja Lang, "It was my attempt to understand the meaning of life in 120 words. There are now thousands of speakers and 137 essential words." Attendees will get an introduction to Toki Pona focused on practical phrases for hacker gatherings.

I used to be somewhat public on the internet and used my legal name. Now I want to be less public and to separate myself from my old publicity. I came up with some techniques for this, but I don't really know whether they work. Do you have ideas for people like me? I will present some of what I do and then invite discussion from other attendees.
