Build an RVPC low-cost PC kit
RVPC is an super-low-cost PC kit created by Olimex with a retro flavour, using a VGA display and PS2 keyboard. At it's most basic, the kit can be used to teach elements of both SMT and through-hole soldering. Going deeper, you can learn more about the RISCV open-source instruction set architecture, programming using a two-wire protocol, printed circuit board design (KiCad) and working with the PlatformIO IDE extension for embedded system design. We use the RVPC at our coding school 42 Berlin to introduce programming students to the world of embedded systems. For our assembly at 38C3 we are using it to create retro-style information screens. Kits cost 2 Euros each, while PS/2 keyboards cost another 2 Euros (while stocks last). https://github.com/fablabnk/RVPCWorkshop

If you are neurodivergent or looked into the topics ADHD and Autism this might be the session for you. Unsure? No worries. Curiosity is enough to participate. I'll bring some fidget toys, talk a little about stimming and accessibility for neurodivergent minds. Please bring your own topics, life-hacks and toys so we can learn from each other! *CN:* Attendees might want to raise topics that can be triggering. These can be discussed in smaller groups where everyone is okay with it.
