Dealing with research software and data can be a real challenge – time to share and connect!
In this self-help group, we’ll share horror stories about research data and software. Big issues or small frustrations – what challenges do you face when working with research software and data? How can we improve research software and data management in the future? What do we need to make that happen?
An open pad will be available for collaborative notes.
NFDIxCS (National Research Data Infrastructure for and with Computer Science) is dedicated to improving research software and data management in Germany. QUADRIGA, the Berlin-Brandenburg Data Competence Center, develops open learning resources to support better academic research data management. I’m involved in both projects with the German Informatics Society and look forward to hearing your experiences and ideas.
If all participants speak German, the session will be held in German.

I'll bring some fidget toys, talk a little about stimming and accessibility for neurodivergent minds. Please bring your own topics, life-hacks and toys so we can learn from each other! *CN:* Attendees might want to raise topics that can be triggering. These can be discussed in smaller groups where everyone is okay with it.
