Climate Action Innovation Hubs

Welcome to Karma House 4.0 and Tourovation Hub! In this session we will present to you two different ways in which innovation spaces are working with local communities to fight against climate change.
In this session Tsewang Lhundup from FabLab Bhutan will present the Karma House 4.0 Over 5 years their team of architects, engineers and fabricators has worked with the government, makers, researchers and other actors to create a space for sustainable use of digital fabrication and open source technologies. Following, Padmakshi Rana from Nepal Communitere and ICIMOD will present the work of Tourovation Hub which is all focused on climate resiliency. The hub is a space to develop innovative business models and for tourism enterprises to help them adopt Energy Efficient and/or Renewable Energy solutions.
