Mensajito.mx (Tiny message) is a DIY, computerless, open-source code and hardware internet radio station. A low-cost alternative to take back digital sovereignty through technology self-management with the intention of generating online free content. We look to support underrepresented communities through open technology to create an online radio station and share unheard stories through sound. One of the aims of Mensajito is to decentralize the platform we use for content creation and consumption creating free content through open technology.
During the workshop, we will teach the participants the basic elements and steps to build their own Mensajitp transmitter with a raspberry pi and all the other elements needed to start their own independent radio station.
